Heroes for Children proudly supported over 1,500 families in 2024, standing by those battling childhood cancer. We’re excited to continue making a difference in 2025 and beyond. Together we’re making a difference!??

Stan Goldman has been a pediatric oncologist since finishing fellowship at Johns Hopkins in 1996. He has been married to his wife Ellen who is a pediatric endocrinologist for 33 years and they have one son, Adam (and a recent new daughter!). Beginning in 1998 he has been at Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas and is the current director of the program. He has a passion for pediatric oncology and stem cell transplant. Dr.?Goldman?treated both Co-Founders’ daughters, Taylor and Allie.??He has been on the board of Heroes for Children and has witnessed firsthand the tremendous difference HFC has made in the lives of families and patients inflicted with pediatric cancers. He will always remember the incredible wedding put on for a young woman who later passed of bone cancer and the many teenage boys able to store sperm prior to chemotherapy only because of the incredible work of HFC. He has watched HFC grow from conception through 20 years of support and love for our Texas families battling childhood cancer. He looks forward to the next 20 years.?????
