Just watched this movie again recently , and something I noticed about Forrest is that : 1. He wasn't afraid of trying something new, even if he was terrible at. 2. If he didn't find initial success at something, he kept at it. ex. Running, Jenny, Shrimp boat Captain 3. He listened more than he spoke, and tried to add value to others people's lives, instead of his own. ex . Bubba telling him about his mother and his dreams of owning a shrimp boat, after Bubba dies he starts a shrimp boat and gives most of the profits to Bubba's mother.

Ive learned it's a numbers game. You will get rejected 499 times, but all it takes is that 1 to be successful.
Get my free LinkedIn course ↓ All you have to do is hit the "View my newsletter" button and subscribe. Then I'll instantly send it to you in an email. Or scroll down to my featured section for paid offers.
The amount of times I've been rejected professionally: (These are just estimates) 1. Over 5,000 cold emails or DMs ignored. Probably more like 10,000. Most of these never get answered. The ones that do lead to incredible outcomes like booking clients and building your network. 2. Over 1,000 posts that got almost no attention. Most of these happened near the start of my content career, but they were stepping stones to building an audience that makes every post at least somewhat of a hit. 3. When I used to freelance on Upwork, I had at least 1,000 proposals ignored or rejected. I sent in 10 a day for more than a year. Most never went anywhere. The ones that did ended up leading to me retiring from being an Uber driving and becoming a writer instead. Try a lot. Lose a lot. Learn a lot. Win a lot. P.S. My LinkedIn growth services start at just $300 a month. One of my clients added 2k followers and $4k MRR in our first 18 days. Go to my profile's featured section to see if we're a good fit.
