Wednesday: I spoke on a women empowerment panel—and after Tuesday night, it felt more essential than ever to reaffirm our purpose and resilience. Thursday: Disha Gulati @ Here Here Market and Sugar Bliss co-hosted our first Corporate Gifting Market, featuring women, diverse, LGBTQ, and veteran founders. I also celebrated the Institute of Justice’s 25th anniversary with Beth Kregor, honoring their commitment on legal assistance to small businesses. Seventeen years ago, they helped Sugar Bliss secure our trademarks, a crucial foundation for our journey. Saturday: I joined Cecilia Cuff and Lotika Pai for City of Chicago’s Civics Day on a panel discussing community-building through entrepreneurship.
