Here Tomorrow had a September to Remember, conducting 470 peer sessions for 270 individuals in crisis, and reaching countless others through outreach and QPR training during National Suicide Prevention Month. We are so appreciative of support in our community, demonstrated through Proclamations made by all three Beaches cities proclaiming September as Suicide Prevention Month and Here Tomorrow as the go-to resource in Greater Jacksonville. In honor of World Suicide Prevention Day, we facilitated QPR Training at Neptune Beach City Hall today for city officials of Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach, and Jacksonville Beach. We are so appreciative to be part of a community that recognizes the need for suicide prevention resources and engages with efforts to support those in crisis.?? We are especially grateful to Neptune Beach Mayor Elaine Brown for receiving a grant aimed specifically at bringing this training to our community. In addition to providing Peer Support, one of the ways we prevent suicide one conversation at a time is through facilitating QPR Training for the community. We encourage you to get involved with suicide prevention efforts this month & beyond - and QPR is a great place to start! While we normally host open trainings on the first week of the month, we have added additional opportunities for you to attend a QPR Training during Suicide Prevention Month.
