Dr. Ski is one of those rare leaders.
For over a decade, as the president of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College Dr. Ski has dedicated himself to breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for all, especially those who have been overlooked, underserved, or underestimated.
He has not just spoken about equity, inclusion, and access, he has lived it, ensuring that every student, regardless of their background, has a place at the table and a pathway to success.
Dr. Ski’s own journey, growing up in a working-class family, becoming a first-generation college graduate, and rising to lead one of the most important institutions in our region, is proof that education changes lives.
But he has never been content with simply achieving success for himself; he has dedicated his career to making sure others have the same chance.
