HLC members, Thanksgiving week always reminds us of our many blessings. It has been almost two years since we founded this exceptional networking group, and now we have nearly 100 women on our list! And growing... Our programming focused on issues that matter to women in private practice, in the government, and in-house -- e.g., personal growth opportunities, substantive legal updates, business development best practices, and most of all, connection to like-minded women. We could not be happier with what we are building with you and we are grateful! We have always believed that a woman’s success obliges her to turn around and help the next woman up. This is our way of doing just that. Bringing women together, across all industries, is not only aimed at creating a referral network but also driving an authentic community that uplifts, inspires, and values each other's successes. In-house counsel thrive on strong networks and meaningful relationships, which are essential for navigating the complexities of their roles. On October 1, our In-House Counsel Subcommittee teamed up with Her Legal Circle (HLC) for the DC Women of Influence: October Power Mixer at Peacock Alley Bar in Washington, DC. Over 70 dynamic and accomplished women attorneys gathered for an evening of networking, sharing experiences, and connecting in a fun and engaging atmosphere. Attendees had the opportunity to expand their networks and learn more about the missions of HLC and our organization.
