This past weekend, we teamed up with Running Start and Xceleader for the HBCU Women's Leadership Summit in DC. The event brought together 80 trailblazing Gen Z women from HBCUs nationwide to elevate their leadership skills and voices in politics, advocacy, and community development. As the proud media partner, Her Campus Media amplified the event across our platforms, with 22 Under 22 winner Ssanyu Lukoma on-site covering the experience. We’re excited to continue partnering with Running Start in 2025 to empower the next generation of women to lead and drive change! https://lnkd.in/eYBpzsPw

Did you know that Indiana University has one of the largest Panhellenic Associations in the country with 22 chapters and over 4,000 sorority members? I had the honor of ending a very busy day by speaking with some of the amazing women who are current and future leaders of the?Indiana University Panhellenic Association! I loved connecting with these bright, driven students and sharing a bit about my own journey—from co-founding Her Campus Media to helping the world’s top brands maintain relevancy with the next generation (all while juggling life as a working mom). My advice to these future leaders? Don’t stress too much about what’s down the road—focus on what you can control today. The steps you take now will set the stage for tomorrow. Kudos you to the incredible Samantha Sternberg and Caroline Doyon for?your leadership of this incredible organization. I can’t wait to see what’s next for you both!

Applied Communication Student at Kent State University | Campus and Influencer Intern @ Her Campus Media | President @ Her Campus Kent State | Class of 2025
??I feel so grateful to lead my Her Campus chapter at Kent State University. Our executive board consists of 13 amazing women who excel in each of their roles. I genuinely could not run this organization without them! ??Our events team consists of Bailey Fair (Events Director), Joy Haugland (Marketing Director), and Adriana Gasiewski (Partnership Director). Due to increased membership, we had to completely change our events team formatting - these women took this with stride and have lead many successful events thus far this semester! ?? Our editorial team is lead by Ella Katona (Editor in Chief), Hannah Planey (Chapter Editor), Molly Aquard (Senior Editor), and Olivia Weber (Section Editor). Our editorial team grew immensely this semester, we went from 11 writers to 40+!! I have to applaud Ella for her ability to take this change with stride and truly help our chapter succeed! ???? ?? Our social media team is lead by Sarah Faour (Social Media Director) and Taylor Cogdeill (Social Media Manager). I have truly seen these two flourish in these positions. They both started as some of our quieter members, but this has completely changed in the past semester! I love to see people grow into and own their voices, and I’m glad Her Campus has become the place for them to do that! (Not to mention our socials are STELLAR!) ? ?? I know by now you’re thinking - “Okay, but who took those Pinterest worthy photos??” Gabriella Adkins (Photography Director) has hopped into this new role for this semester and ran with it! Not only did she direct, shoot, and edit the photos below - but she does it for every brand partnership we get! ?? Last but not least, a big thank you to Julianna Schuler (Secretary) and Vera LeCount (Vice President) for helping me out with the usually unseen but necessary parts of running this chapter! Everytime I loop one of these two into a task, it gets done as quickly and efficiently as possible! ?? Lastly, I am going to pat myself on the back. Since stepping into my role as President in the Fall of 2022, I have seen board members come and go and have led each one to their own version of success within their role. On top of this, I have utilized my skills and our board to grow our chapter from 20 members (Spring 2022) to a whopping 140 MEMBERS (Fall 2024). I know that I could not have done this without my board, but I would be doing myself a disservice to not acknowledge the hard work and dedication I have put into this organization that has made it so successful today. ?? It’s so sad to realize that I only have a little over a semester left with this amazing organization, but believe me I am going to make the most of it!?? #hercampus Her Campus Media #hercampuschapter #studentorganization #studentorgleader #leader #leadership #studentleader #womensorganization #growth #success
