?? Shining a Light in the Darkness ?? We are incredibly grateful to the Denver Post for highlighting the critical need for emergency safehouses for survivors of human trafficking in Colorado—and for shining a light on the organizations stepping in to meet this need. In early 2025, two short-term safehouses will open in metro Denver, becoming the first in the state to offer emergency beds exclusively for trafficking survivors. These homes represent hope, safety, and a new beginning for women who have endured unthinkable trauma. HER Campaign is honored to open one of these homes this January, providing care and stabilization for up to 14 women at a time. Our focus is on meeting survivors where they are, offering physical, mental, and emotional support, and helping them take their first steps toward healing and purpose. We celebrate the dedication of Covered Colorado, opening their safe house in March to provide even more life-saving support. It is a privilege to work alongside them and others like the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking and other advocates to create a stronger safety net for survivors in Colorado. A heartfelt thank you to The Avodah Collective for their partnership and generosity to fully fund the Emergency Shelter in Denver. It is because of partnerships like this we are able to increase our impact to provide programs for survivors and their children.
