It wasn’t as involved an effort as lifting and assembling the fabrications back in October 2024, but seeing the final wiring and activation happen without complication was just as satisfying. The new bridge over I-985 at Elachee Drive in Gainesville, Georgia is finally complete. This sole entry point to the Chicopee Woods and Elachee Nature Science Center was built by ER Snell. Something interesting is coming...

1050 Brickworks on West Marietta Street is in one of the country’s most dynamic regions: West Midtown, Atlanta. Boasting 14 stories of best-in-class office space and retail totaling almost 225,000 square feet in a highly walkable, mixed-use neighborhood. Owned and developed by Sterling Bay and Asana Partners, designed by HKS, Inc., and built by Gilbane Building Company, the property features a fitness center, conference space, outdoor workspaces, as well as a lounge and bar. There is covered parking for 550 vehicles, and over 10,000 square feet of rooftop deck with a view of the Atlanta skyline. With over 22,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities, numerous surrounding restaurants, and residential options, this is a highly employee-friendly location. Our work on the property includes perforated corrugated panels to enclose and ventilate the parking levels, wood-grain soffits over the 8th level outdoor amenities spaces, and ACM cladding on columns and trim.

In 2019 Turner Construction Company asked us to fabricate and install the decorative exterior elements envisioned by Studio Gang for the Center for Innovation & the Arts to be built at Spelman College in Atlanta. That scope included sunshade louvers, corrugated metal wall panels, and ACM parapet and accent work. While that work was underway Mark Iii Signs Inc asked us to build and install the monument sign to be nestled among the landscaping in front of the building. The Center for Innovation & the Arts is situated along the entryway to the campus and Spelman has referred to it as their Front Porch. The monument reflects this, having the college’s name rather than the building’s name. Both projects are now complete, the construction debris is cleaned up, the landscaping is in, and the building looks amazing. Thanks to everyone involved for inviting us to contribute to this unique piece of architecture.

Walmart is nearing completion on a new 350-acre corporate headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas. The complex includes a dozen new office buildings, a 73,000-sqaure-foot childcare center, greenspace and walking/biking trails, parks, and ponds. There will also be a food court building called Eighth & Plate. For their fitness center we contributed approximately 170 thousand square feet of exterior fa?ade. Eighth & Plate, however, was entirely an interior sign, lighting, and sculpture project for us. Working for both Walmart and Flintco, our scope at most of the food stalls included branding, decorative elements, light boxes, and sculptural elements designed by fc Studio. We first began work at Ponce City Market during the 2014 renovation that transformed the property from a rundown 1920s Sears Roebuck warehouse into a vibrant, modern, mixed-use community. The ripple effects of that renovation have transformed the entire Old Fourth Ward area northeast of Atlanta into an extremely happening neighborhood. Since the initial renovation, we have been working nearly continuously with owner Jamestown L.P. on upgrades, expansions, and additions. The latest is a significant upgrade to their parking information and wayfinding system. If you haven’t visited yet, I highly recommend it. Even if you don’t decide to move in, the shopping, entertainment, and dining options are excellent. And the parking is easier than ever. Jamestown

Our installation is complete at Anthem House in MidCity District, Huntsville, Alabama. Anthem House will provide 330 apartment units, 35,360 square feet of creative office space, and 31,930 square feet of curated street-level retail.
