We enjoyed celebrating the groundbreaking for Headland Urgent Care today. Congratulations to Dr. John McDonald and his family, we sincerely appreciate the investment you are making in Henry County!

It was great to be a part of the Southeast Alabama STEM Learning Ecosystem Design Studio at The ATTA Library of STEM & History in Abbeville yesterday. STEM partners from education, government, business, industry, and non-profits worked on the next phase of this regional and statewide project. Kudos to Kate Killebrew and The Atta staff for another outstanding STEM event.

Henry County is truly blessed to have its native son Jimmy Rane continue making his home here. His impact on the community is far beyond the economic significance of Great Southern Wood Preserving and its brand YellaWood. We are grateful that his unique corporate "office" stretches all over downtown Abbeville, adding vibrant energy and making Abbeville even more charming with its neon and nostalgia... all a reflection of his heart for historic preservation, his love for his hometown, and his sincere generosity. https://lnkd.in/e862bYR4

Introducing Leadership Henry Class 1! These 12 participants met earlier this week for their Orientation and Opening Session at The ATTA Library of STEM and History in Abbeville. The day included team building activities with Camp Butter and Egg, history of Henry County with Judge Derek Peterson, a tour and overview of The Atta by Kate Killebrew, 6 Thinking Hats personality profile session, and inspiration from motivational speaker John Riley. We’re off to a great start!

Henry County Workforce Steering Committee members visited the career tech centers in Dale County and Houston County yesterday. Many thanks to Dale County Bridge Academy and Houston County Career Academy for your hospitality and for sharing best practices with our team. Very Impressive facilities and staff!!
