Hennepin County Public Health in Health and Human Services is seeking a Grants Specialist to lead the coordinated Public Health Grant Management program. This position will be responsible for leading teams through the full pre-award grant cycle including prospecting, tracking, writing, and submitting proposals for federal, state and foundation grant opportunities. This position will interface across all areas in Public Health including finance and evaluation, as well as with internal and external partners. Hennepin County and our partners are housing and helping veterans overcome homelessness at a higher rate than veterans are coming into the homelessness system. Our systems ensure that veteran homelessness is rare, brief, and nonrecurring. While we know that much remains to be done, we are celebrating alongside Hennepin County employees, leaders, our partners, such as U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and elected officials at the local, state, and federal levels. The Child Protection division of Human Services Public Health in Health and Human Services is seeking to fill multiple Child Protection Social Worker (CPSW) vacancies. Each individual vacancy will have specialized duties and responsibilities depending on the area of assignment: Investigations, Case Management, and Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) Investigations or Case Management. The new Child Protection Social Workers will participate in the induction training on Hennepin County's policies, procedures, and practices as well as mandated Department of Human Services training. This will include in-person and virtual instructor-led training, court room training, job shadowing other Child Protection Social Workers on a rotational basis, and close supervision while receiving initial case assignments. The Behavioral Health department at NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center is seeking a school-based Mental Health Therapist to join their team. This position will provide clinical mental health services in a K-8th grade school-based setting. This position will also provide clinical mental health services, including conducting initial clinical interviews with children (ages 5-17) and their families to determine level of functioning and to diagnose mental and/or emotional disorders, completing diagnostic assessment reports (to include presenting problems, psychosocial and medication histories, psychiatric diagnoses), creating treatment plans, and providing psychotherapy.?
