We are deeply saddened by the passing of Michael Brindisi, a true icon of Minnesota theater. As artistic director and co-owner of Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, Michael shaped generations of artists and audiences with his vision, passion and dedication to the stage. His impact on our theater community is immeasurable, and his legacy will live on in the countless performances he inspired. Our hearts go out to his family, friends and all who had the privilege of working with him. Rest in peace, Michael. Your light will never dim.

On display are enlarged reproductions of Daniel Corrigan’s photographs from the book Heyday: 35 years of Music in Minneapolis. Included are photos of Prince during the filming of Purple Rain, Steve McClellan the longtime manager of First Avenue & 7th St. Entry and more. Also seen is a slideshow of original poster art circa 2000-2010 from the Hennepin County Library archives, a listening and viewing alcove for the Rick Fuller documentary, First Avenue Hayday: 1985-1992 and a compilation wall of the iconic First Avenue & 7th St. Entry.
