Sustainability milestone in Kenya ?? Our Nairobi manufacturing site is now fully powered by 100% renewable electricity! This milestone marks a significant step forward for our #sustainability efforts in the region, highlighting Kenya’s leadership in the transition to clean energy. Through higher energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources, like our on-site solar system, we eliminate approximately 10,471 tons of CO2 emissions annually — equivalent to removing the carbon footprint of about 2,500 gasoline-powered cars! In collaboration with 4JET we have introduced an innovative solution to tackle this challenge: ?? A new process that simplifies the production of quiet tires in electric vehicles, cutting costs and boosting #sustainability. Henkel Adhesive Technologies' innovative Loctite LASER-FIT acoustic foam is applied in liquid form directly inside the tire, activated by a laser, streamlining production and reducing material waste. This technology not only lowers costs but also improves the tire’s CO? footprint, supporting the future of sustainable mobility.
