What I value most about meeting colleagues at the office is the personal exchange — grabbing coffee, having conversations, connecting face-to-face and gathering different perspectives. This is also the idea behind “A Coffee with Sylvie”— a space where I openly discuss, exchange ideas, and listen to different guests from within and outside Henkel. In the first episode, we’re diving into a topic I am particularly proud of: our fully paid, gender-neutral parental leave guideline for all employees worldwide. We discuss the motivation behind it, challenges in implementation, and the real value it brings to our people. I had a great conversation with Viktoria Holland-Cunz, who, along with her team, initiated the global benefit, and learned from Daniel Lopez Wismer, a new father who shared how meaningful this benefit was for him personally.
