Honoring the past, celebrating the present, and empowering the future. ? This Black History Month, we recognize the incredible contributions of Black leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs who have been shaping the Henderson community and beyond for over 200 years. Over the next couple of weeks, we're excited to highlight just a few individuals helping make our city bright! Trace Stevens has been the City of Henderson's Parks & Recreation Director since April 2014. He does phenomenal work advocating for parks and recreation and educating the public about the benefits and duties of park professionals – duties such as cemetery and facility maintenance, pavement repairs and patching in the parks, pool maintenance, after-school programs and so much more. Henderson is fortunate to have leaders like Trace Stevens and we thank him for his continued efforts to make Henderson a better place to live and play!
