As we celebrate International Women’s Day, there is no better time to reflect on our history of funding women founders. We had a great discussion at the global innovation hub 1871 with Kasia Bednarz (Founder of FARE) and Tricia Martínez-Saab (Managing Director at Techstars) on where we are today. Women founders draw less than 2% of venture capital dollars. As the UN calls for the world to invest in women to accelerate progress, we need to go beyond discussions and see some real action.
