    The power of one is a concept that we hold near and dear to our hearts. The idea that one person can change the lives of others and even the world. When we heard how the magic of GT's Living Foods’ Synergy Kombucha had started from a son’s mission to heal his mother, we knew we had to infuse the campaign with every bit of light and humanity we could. As Art Director Irma Hasanic puts it, "Humanity is at the story's core, so it was important to infuse human touch into the animation by sprinkling cel wherever we could. Cel animating the characters ensured an organic, natural feel - perfect for the story of Kombucha." With an incredible client partnership, there was collaboration and trust from the start. This one really let our artists spread their wings and explore the best way to visualize the story, and it came together in what we hope conveys the beautiful message on? visuals and movement alone. ?????? https://lnkd.in/gVxCUgB3

    The essence of Porsche AG lies in its heritage— timeless design, exceptional performance, and decades of innovation that continually redefines style and substance. The chance to craft original edits from a collection of high energy and iconic footage spanning decades offered a unique opportunity to refresh and make the clips feel brand new alongside the Macan and Taycan. By diving into its historic past, we gathered the defining elements that make a Porsche unmistakably Porsche. We crafted sleek designs and transitions; plus, we effortlessly connected the new all-electric Macan and Taycan to their legendary predecessors, showcasing the future while honoring the past.? Overall we aimed to push the designs beyond the obvious - breaking, blending and merging footage to find the most interesting ways to connect our car models and best accentuate their similarities.     Meet Scholar’s Lead Designer Jina Kwon!??????? Jina sees design as a way to connect with the world, and her passion spans across designing characters, painting backgrounds, photo compositing and lots in between. We asked Jina her advice on creative portfolios and what to emphasize when building one. She said that her focus is on “diversity, quality, and storytelling.” She also adds that “it’s all about showing technical skills and the creative thought process that goes into each piece.” Jina’s favorite craft partner is her 2-year-old son and together they spend time drawing, painting, and being creative with clay.     For GT's Living Foods brand campaign for Synergy Kombucha, every aspect of storytelling was considered down to the molecular level. It only made sense to paint the world in vivid hues with a dash of perfectly imperfect grain, and even though the piece was created with a mixture of #AfterEffects, cel animation, and #Cinema4D, the medium was never meant to be the star. We used every tool in our animation toolbox to create a living, breathing story strung together by light, which was the real hero. Creative Director Will Johnson puts it best, “Light was a character from the very beginning. It was symbolic of internal light, humanity, health and wellness, hope, the spark of ingenuity, and the light of an idea. We wanted to handle it in a meaningful and beautiful way that flowed like the product and never distracted from the story.” Watch the #behindthescenes of how the #craft all came together. ?? https://lnkd.in/gVxCUgB3

    The Synergy Kombucha campaign let us return to the root of emotional storytelling by combining clever and impactful design with powerful visual metaphors. From the first second of the film, which opens with a single drop of liquid, the Synergy Brand is personified in abstract ways without relying on logos. The hands at the end are a very tangible example of this. The viewer imagines crafting and drinking, but the image also communicates the brand’s message of kindness and sharing without relying on words.
