At last year’s?Women’s ?? Heart Health Summit, co-hosted by Hello Heart and the American Heart Association, I wasn’t supposed to be on the agenda. But when Maayan got stuck in a Miami airport, I found out—just 12 hours in advance—that I’d be giving the opening remarks. I shared the story of my mom, who passed away from a heart-related stroke ten years ago. She was my real-life superhero. I thought I was on top of her health, but I didn’t fully grasp the urgency of her heart ??.
