We realized that we’ve never officially met… Introducing Annie ??, your front desk’s new best friend. Every office has been there -- choosing between an incoming call and the patient in front of you, or sacrificing family time in the evening for an after-hours call. Annie is a dental-specific AI assistant that exists for those moments and more. Since going live, Annie has handled over 25,000 conversations with patients completely autonomously — answering FAQs, capturing leads, and scheduling appointments. That’s over 1,100 hours of work saved. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be dropping more about Annie’s capabilities, how it works, and why we built it. Excited ??

?Annie phone support is live! ? We’re excited to announce the arrival of our longest-awaited feature… Phone Support ?? Annie is now available 24/7 to answer calls. Whether that’s after-hours or playing backup during busy times, Annie’s phone support will make sure you capture every patient. When a missed call is forwarded over, Annie can answer FAQs, qualify patients, and even schedule appointments. This takes Annie from being helpful to being your front desk’s new best friend! Annie’s chat and phone features are also now available to support chiropractic and optometry offices. ?? Annie has some new features for August to save you time and earn you money! Multi-Agent Support ?? If you have multiple offices or need agents that handle different use cases within your organization, this update is for you! You can now create multiple agents under your account. Each agent can have its own set of instructions and information, and you have full ability to edit the content that each agent has access to.? Smarter, More Contextual Answers ?? We'll try not to get too nerdy on you here, but in July we added some upgrades to our backend that improve Annie's ability to learn and remember your organization's materials, FAQs, and instructions. Moving forward, you will see deeper and more thorough answers to your patients’ questions. Reporting Enhancement ?? We rolled out a new reporting interface that shows additional details about your agent's performance. Now, you can view how many conversations you've had each day and a breakdown of the average number of messages in a conversation and conversations per day. ?? Our July product update is in! Massive thank you to all of you who have supported us and have helped pioneer using AI as backup at the dental front desk. Your feedback has been instrumental as we bring Annie to life. Keep it coming! We are excited to continue to roll out features that make (and save) your business more money. Orthodontic support and dental lead generation agents Annie can now take on an ortho-specific persona. This allows for better question answering for orthodontic offices and increases customization around orthodontic offices' procedures. ? Additionally, we've introduced a lead generation-only option for all our agents (dental, ortho, and custom), focusing on capturing leads without scheduling for offices that prefer to have Annie only gather patient information. Customize your widget and color settings In your Annie App, you can now customize your widget color to match your website's design and feel. You can also set your widget's default status to open or closed, depending on how actively you want to encourage conversational interactions.
