At Hello Alice, we believe in the power of community and shared knowledge. That's why we're thrilled to give you a sneak peek into our conversation with Dianne Austin, CEO & Co-Founder of Coils to Locs and panelist at our upcoming virtual forum! Dianne exemplifies the innovation we see in our community every day. After discovering a critical gap in medical wig options during her own cancer treatment, she built a business creating beautiful, highly textured wigs available through insurance coverage. As a successful grant recipient, Dianne shared valuable insights with us: "Grants give you an opportunity to seek out money for your business to help you grow, to help you keep the doors open for a few more months" "It's not as hard or overwhelming as it looks" "It's not about luck - it's about showcasing your business effectively" According to our Hello Alice data, "access to capital" consistently ranks among the top challenges for small businesses. With traditional financing applications from small businesses declining from 43% in 2019 to 34% today, we're seeing more owners turning to grant funding as a strategic solution. ?? Join us on March 26th from 1:30-2:30pm ET for "Funding Your Future: Smart Strategies for Small Business Grant Success" featuring Dianne and other experts including: LaToya Ratlieff, our Director of Grants Pallavi Pande Owner & Founder of DTOCS Moderated by our own Kelsey Ruger Chief Product & Technology Office ??
