This was a fun episode for me, reminding me of the hundreds (maybe thousands ?? ) of egg sandwiches I cooked while serving my crew in the U.S. Coast Guard. Our mission of combating Military Connected food insecurity, by sharing Budget Friendly Family Style recipes has been very rewarding. Hearing from different Active Duty members reaching out with their own sea stories or sharing how they cooked the recipes differently, has been incredibly inspiring. Big shoutout to Jordan J. Foley of Let’s Chow for taking his Food Truck fellows to the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Solheim Cup next week in Virginia! ?? He'll have 3 food trucks serving up some delicious food and running a concessions cafe on the second green. Below is another episode in my Hellman's Kitchen Budget Friendly series, which is part of the mission being led by Jordan J. Foley of Let’s Chow. The idea is to teach those receiving food donations to use those ingredients wisely, in order to stretch the food as much as possible. ?? ?? A couple unique challenges & advantages that comes with being a "Solopreneur"...a term I recently discovered. Challenges: ??Nobody on your same team to bounce around ideas ??All workflows bottleneck at one point...you Advantages: ??Ability to pivot on a whim to a new opportunity (within reason) ??Complete creative freedom My strategy is working slowly this year, with a basic concept: ?? Produce higher quality content = increased volume of inbound client requests Next I need to build on my negotiation and contract review skillset.
