Protocol Upgrades Deployed - HNT Token Net Emissions Smoothing - Re-implementation of Not Emitted HNT Tokens - ED25519 Signature Instruction Support for Lazy-Distributor - Switch Mobile Hotspot Onboarding Fees to Data Credits - Switch Mobile Hex-Boosting Fees to Data Credits - Switch Mobile Service Provider Stake to HNT - Switch Mobile Manufacturer Stake to HNT - Allow Automation of Locked HNT Position Rewards Claims - Mobile Service Provider Overrides - Removal of HNT/MOBILE/IOT Freeze Authorities - Removal of MOBILE/IOT Mint Authorities - Switch LoRaWAN OUI/DevAddr Management Fees to Data Credits TL;DR?? These upgrades refine HNT emissions, eliminate mint/freeze powers, and transition most operational fees to Data Credits. All programs completed deployment on March 12, 2025. Note that existing makers and service providers may swap their locked tokens at a later date. No Hotspot owner or Subscriber action is required, but be sure to update your Helium Apps to stay up to date. All approved features are now live. Understanding Voting Requirements in HIP 141 HIP 141 changes how delegation rewards work. Vote in 2 out of 4 governance votes to stay eligible. Voting takes 7 days per proposal, and non-participation burns your staking benefits until you’re active again. Use a proxy voter if needed. To prevent inactive delegation and lost wallets, delegation and proxy resets occur on?August 1st every year. However, you have the entire month of?July to renew your delegation and proxies.
