We've reached a significant milestone with our Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project at the Mitchell cement plant in Indiana! The U.S. Department of Energy’s CarbonSAFE project, led by the Illinois State Geological Survey, began test well drilling last month. This project aims to confirm the suitability of the geology for storing CO?, with the potential to safely store more than 50 million metric tons of CO? over 30 years.
