In honor of #DomesticViolenceAwarenessMonth, Hegira Health CEO Carol Zuniga (DiGiuseppe) talks about how we can bring hope to solving this serious problem in her column, “Domestic Violence: It’s up to all of us to end the cycle.” Carol shares that everyone needs to be educated about what domestic violence looks like and how to guide victims to get help. She also remembers Hegira’s beloved colleague Kelly Ann Mays, a domestic violence advocate, that was tragically lost last year. https://bit.ly/3YuS3pH Available online at The News-Herald, The Macomb Daily, The Oakland Press, and the Dearborn Press & Guide. #HegiraHealth #DVAM2024 #HealHoldCenter #CallforUnity

Chief Executive Officer ? Leader ? Thoughtful Risk Taker ? Challenging the status quo to enhance people’s lives and advance organizational goals.
There is nothing more important than investing in your team. In the always tight non-profit financial landscape, we have to pick and choose our investments carefully. Technology is helping to make the necessary evil we clinicians call paperwork, more manageable and less time-consuming, while still producing the great health records our clients need and deserve. Hegira Health, Inc. adopting Eleos AI was a no-brainer to help our clinicians take care of the necessary so that they have more time to do what they love to do - work with and serve others.
