Yesterday Olsson celebrated signing the final beam for our new office which will open next summer at the The Row at Heartwood Preserve! When I looked out to the group yesterday during the photo, I didn't see engineers. The catastrophic floods of March 2019 caused over a billion dollars in damage in Eastern Nebraska and the Greater Omaha metropolitan area. This devastation became the foundation for MSLA's vision. Engineered by the necessity of climate adaptation, the Heartwood Greenway System serves as both a monumental public artwork installation and climate infrastructural design, protecting the development and neighbors from extreme weather events. Designing the Dream: Greg and Katie Frazell of G. Lee Homes were recently featured in the March issue of Elkhorn City Lifestyle. G. Lee Homes, along with Silverthorn Custom Homes and Meco-Henne Contracting, make up The Arbour Building Group, creating a new residential neighborhood north of Pacific St. and west of Millard North High School. For Greg, it’s a full-circle moment – as a student at Millard North High School, he used to look out over these very fields during his architecture classes. Now he's breaking ground on those very same fields, helping design what will become a vibrant community with 210 upscale single-family homes, dual family homes, and luxury rowhouses.
