She is known for her work in the field of body psychotherapy and energy psychology. She has traveled widely, nationally and internationally, giving lectures, workshops, seminars, and teaching how the body communicates. She holds graduate degrees in clinical psychology from ?the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, ?nonverbal communications from the University of Pennsylvania, and humanistic education from Syracuse University. She did her undergraduate work at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. Her work emphasizes body mind and somatic principals that leads to a healthy life style, personal and professional fulfillment, ?and the ability to open your heart and love fully — free of negativity and blame. She worked closely with John C. Pierrakos, MD, her mentor, who founded Bioenergetics and Core Energetics. She was Assistant Director of the Institute of Core Energetics headquartered in New York City from 1995 to 2011, Associate Director of the Australian Institute of Core Energetics from 1996 – 2000, and Senior Director of the Brazil Institute of Core Energetics from 1994 to 2004. Prior to that she directed Drexel University’s Counseling Center, acted as Group Co-Coordinator at the Humanistic Psychotherapy Studies Center in Philadelphia, PA, and has been an adjunct professor in the Holistic Counseling Graduate Program at Salve Regina University in Newport, RI from 2010 until 2022. Currently she is the Director of the Core Energetics Academy, headquartered in Bethel CT and is on the board of the Institute of Core Energetics, headquartered in NYC. And that’s a wrap. ChangeNOW 2024, Paris, France. What a whirlwind of excitement and hope. It was a wonderful 3 day summit, meeting like minded individuals, all having the common goal to bring sustainability in the environmental and social sectors of our lives today for a brighter future for humanity. It’s been a little over a week since Davos and my two major take aways from the bustling energy of the worldwide network, fresh Swiss air of vibrancy and this year’s theme at Davos - “Rebuilding Trust” was the evolution and ethical intelligence of AI -held in conversation in all sectors, it’s strong impact in reshaping the future, particularly in gender sensitive Women’s Health disparities and Mental Health overall. ???? The second major takeaway is the powerful advocacy of Woman Leadership & the rise of Equity at the forefront. A record breaking 800 women leaders attended Davos this year marking a historic movement in its 54 years of existence. I feel honored that I was part of this historical movement -being invited by the WORLD WOMAN FOUNDATION to partake in their event, AI House Davos, The Female Quotient, Human Change House, Convergence Partners and out of many events that I attended along, I had great pride to witness the opening of the “We-Lead: Women’s leadership lounge in Davos. It is India’s first women’s leadership lounge championed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of Women & Child Development/ Shri Smriti Irani, Indian Government and supported by the Gates Foundation.
