?? We're Hiring: Senior Designer! ?? Are you a skilled designer with a passion for fabrication and design? We want YOU to join our team! We build really big barges. What You'll Do: ? Design detailed drawings, sketches, and profiles for barge projects. ? Create and modify designs using Pro Nest CAD/CAM or other PC technology. ? Prepare bid and general arrangement drawings, working closely with maintenance, production, and operations teams. ? Utilize AutoCAD, Inventor, Excel, and MS Word to create precise shop drawings. ? Collaborate with clients, contractors, and inspectors to maintain accuracy and meet schedules. ? Assist in cost estimates and provide proactive solutions to minimize disruptions and costs. What We’re Looking For: ? Expertise in welded construction, steel plates/shapes, and manufacturing processes. ? Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software (AutoCAD, Inventor). ? Strong communication skills to translate customer specs into approval drawings. ? A problem-solver who maintains schedules and minimizes costs. Starting Pay: Salary ??
