We’re incredibly grateful to the WRJ group from Temple Emanu-El Dallas for their thoughtful donation of over 100 snack bags for our students! Each bag was creatively decorated with inspiring messages and packed with delicious snacks. A heartfelt thank you to National Charity League, Inc. Lakewood for hosting an incredible Winter Warm-Up Drive for our students! Thanks to their generosity, each child received a warm coat and winter accessories just in time for Dallas' last cold front. We're happy to know our students stayed warm throughout the season and are now prepared to welcome the breezy spring weather. This thoughtful donation made all the difference, and we’re truly grateful for the love and support shown to our Heart House community. ??????

Each bag included a handmade Valentine and fun treats, ensuring that all of the children in our afterschool and reading homeroom programs had a special and memorable Valentine’s Day. We were delighted to welcome the Latinos Unidos student group from the Episcopal School of Dallas for a meaningful service project. Together with our students, they created Valentine’s Day cards that will be delivered to local seniors, spreading joy and connection this holiday. This activity provided a wonderful opportunity to engage our students in a hands-on lesson about empathy, creativity, and the value of giving back to the community.?????
