Today, I've graduated from the University of Galway in Community Development Practice and another class mate walked passed a window with this message and instantly shared it with me. It means "My Heart, Big Heart" . All the signs are there for us ?? . Together we are stronger!!!!

British Society for Heart Failure AGM A great time had representing Heart Failure Warriors NI at the British Society for Heart Failure Annual General Meeting in London. One of the Southern Trust Heart Failure Nurses were nominated for the Lynda Blue Award. (very prestigious). Lots of networking and connecting with professionals who support us. Dr Campbell, the lead clinician for Heart Failure NI is a member of the BSH board and continues to promote our patient group.

Collaboration in Cardiovascular Care A "Collaboration in Cardiovascular Care" event took place at the Parliament Buildings in Stormont Estate, Belfast on Monday, bringing together members of the Legislative Assembly, leading medical professionals, and patients to discuss critical issues surrounding heart failure services. Organised by the local charity Heart Failure Warriors Northern Ireland, the event aimed to raise awareness and foster collaboration among stakeholders in cardiovascular care. With several cardiovascular charities also present, attendees engaged in meaningful discussions on improving heart health outcomes. The event was deemed a resounding success and garnered attention from various media organisations, highlighting its significance in addressing heart failure challenges within the community.

This day last week Heart Failure Warriors were invited to have a stand/table at the NI Heart Failure Nurses Forum AGM along with special guests. It is always an honour to be amongst the HF nurse specialists who help keep us on track. It was a great day and very valuable.

Following a few fantastic days at the Global heart hub summit Heart Failure Warriors have connected with many other charities and organisations to bring forward change in cardiovascular diseases. We are so excited to announce we will be collaborating with Mended Hearts Europe to develop an amazing support package for those living with heart failure. This will be a great adventure and opportunity to work in partnership with others across the world.
