Bringing Quality Hearing Care to Anyone, Anywhere.

关于我们

We started as a team of two and after just 10 years, we are proud to be a team of more than 1,200 worldwide. We have built the fastest-growing hearing care company in the world. We were the first company to combine positive messaging and online marketing, a free phone consultation, and a network of top audiologists for unprecedented hearing outcomes. And we did it all with the lofty goal of removing the stigma around hearing care and delivering the best solution possible for our customers. Today, we are the clear market leader in online hearing care in every country that we operate in. From the start, we have chosen to build for the long term. We love what we do. What do we do? Deliver on our mission. We believe it is our purpose and duty to bring quality hearing care to anyone, anywhere. It’s why we get up in the morning, and why we try to build a better and bigger hear.com each and every day.

Better hearing care is all about service. And quality service begins with being responsive to customers. From what we’ve seen, the first interaction with an audiologist can play a deciding role in whether a customer continues to struggle with hearing loss or becomes a happy, hearing customer. If audiologists treat customers with care and understanding, then these customers will be willing to come back and get the treatment they need. If audiologists don’t treat their patients with care and understanding, then they’ll see the opposite result. Think of it as going to a good dentist versus a bad one. When you receive good service, you’re motivated to return and take care of your dental health, while a bad experience leaves you looking for somewhere else. At hear.com, we take customer service seriously. We measure our network of audiologists and hearing care specialists every day, week, month, and year to ensure consistent, premium customer care. We've built a network that's not only vetted and trustworthy but also widespread to meet our customers’ needs wherever they are. First impressions matter in healthcare because they set the tone for how a person’s health journey unfolds. By focusing on providing consistent, high-quality care from the moment a customer interacts with us, we ensure they get the hearing care they deserve.

At hear.com, we trust people more than any spreadsheet, rule, or process. Our fundamental belief is that people are inherently good and perform best when given the freedom to do, build, and interact on their own terms, without excessively rigid processes that leave little room for creativity. We also believe it’s the leader’s job to provide a clear direction and goal, then step back and give their teams the space needed to figure out how to achieve it. When leaders empower their people with this level of autonomy, they’re happier because they have more agency. They’re driving the agenda, making independent decisions, and solving problems on their own - which leads to better business outcomes faster. This empowerment is crucial as we continue our growth at hear.com. We’re growing much faster than the market, and to sustain that pace, we can’t rely solely on processes and structures. We need people-driven innovation and the freedom to move quickly to maintain that momentum. That’s exactly why we give our team the freedom to innovate and create.

What if people looked forward to getting hearing care like they look forward to getting the latest gadget? I believe we’ll see this shift over the next decade. In the same way people get excited about their latest phone or a new pair of eyeglasses, people will be excited about the latest updates and features of hearing aids and hearing technology. As more tech-savvy individuals and generations enter early old age, they will treat hearing care as a way to plug in and stay connected. The days of people avoiding hearing devices because of the stigma around them will be long gone. I’m excited for the day when hearing care is seen as the life-enhancing piece of technology it is.

Ever heard about when jogging became “the new thing” in the '70s and '80s? The popularity of jogging took off during this time as part of a U.S. marketing campaign to address the rise in heart disease. Today, the results of that awareness campaign are everywhere: jogging is one of the first things people recommend for getting in shape. In the same way, I believe we need a movement to depict hearing care as "mental jogging.” Imagine if people started viewing better hearing as something that re-engages your brain and communication skills, giving you improved mental health and a stronger, more fulfilled, social life. We’ve got a lot of work to do to make hearing care the new jogging, though. So many people across the country still go through life with untreated hearing loss - hearing care awareness is low. Let’s make taking care of our hearing the healthy habit it is - and give it the attention it fully deserves. Our collective health depends on it.
