关于我们
The Healthy Lakewood Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit public charity. The Healthy Lakewood Foundation was created to ensure remaining assets from the conversion of the Lakewood Hospital will continue to benefit the health and wellness of residents in the City of Lakewood. We honor the legacy of Lakewood Hospital and are committed to a path forward that ensures everyone in Lakewood can achieve their fullest health potential. It is with this spirit that we work to build trust and responsibly steward funds that will support health and wellness for the benefit of the Lakewood community and its residents for generations to come.

Thank you to all who attended Healthy Lakewood Foundation’s (HLF) annual Community Meeting on Wednesday evening. We are grateful you chose to share an evening with us, learning about Foundation updates and hearing from April Walker, founder of Philanthropy for the People. April shared about her work with HLF in creating an equitable framework for future grantmaking, while also asking us to consider how the philanthropic sector can better partner with nonprofits. Her words inspired meaningful conversation around the room. The insight and ideas generated from attendees will help inform and enhance our grant-making and community engagement strategies moving forward.
