Sometimes, moving forward is about addressing what's holding you back, and reshaping how you approach work and life. For many of the issues young professionals face today—imposter syndrome, burnout, or even navigating work-life balance—understanding the mind is key. When you're able to unlock what drives you, you can approach challenges with clarity and purpose. We designed HG Coaching to help professionals and creatives navigate the workplace, and maximize their potential to do more of what they love. If you're looking to invest in your team and help them thrive, explore our coaching program for your EAP offerings ??: https://bit.ly/40CWn8K

"Violence isn’t the answer," while true, ignores the broken system fueling it. The cycle won’t break itself. We must face that real change won’t happen until we address the systems that leave people with no other options. #HealthcareReform #MentalHealth

Too often, we look outside ourselves for answers, but real confidence comes from knowing what we want and why. If you find yourself feeling unsure of what you want, take some time to explore your inner motivations. ?? What drives you, outside of what the world says you should want? Once we understand this, our choices start to reflect our priorities, bringing clarity to what truly matters to us.

Technology is rapidly transforming the way we live, learn, and connect—but it’s also introducing new challenges for institutions, parents, and educators alike. Teachers are probably feeling the effects of this right now, as they try to get kids to refocus after all the extra screen time over winter break. ???? Dr. K wrote “How to Raise a Healthy Gamer” to help parents better understand the impact of gaming and technology on their kids. The book dives into topics like how gaming affects emotional regulation, attention, and motivation, providing insights that can also help teachers support their students in the classroom. Dr. K works with schools and administrators, delivering talks on topics like video game addiction, healthy technology use, and supporting students in today’s digital landscape. If you’d like to bring Dr. K to your school, we’d love to connect. While the holidays are often seen as a time for family and connection, this doesn’t have a positive association for everyone. If you find yourself feeling like an outsider at any point, it may help to reflect on how that belief shapes your experiences. When we expect not to belong, our brains filter out welcoming signals, amplify negative ones, and misinterpret neutral interactions. This mindset can reinforce itself over time, making it harder to notice opportunities for connection—even when they’re right in front of us. We challenge you to look for small moments of warmth or inclusion, and give yourself permission to interpret them positively. You deserve connection, and with a little shift in perspective, you might find it closer than you think. Take care of yourself this season. ?? ?? No one should have to choose between health and financial ruin. Stories like the United Healthcare tragedy expose a system forcing impossible decisions. Compassionate change is overdue. We need care that values dignity, not just dollars. #Healthcare #UHC
