5 Powerful Reasons Your Company Should Host a Hackathon Hackathons aren’t just for tech giants or startups—they’re a strategic tool for innovation, talent attraction, and business growth. If your company hasn’t considered hosting one yet, here are five compelling reasons to start: 1?? Drive Innovation & Problem-Solving Hackathons provide a structured way to tackle challenges, develop new products, and test fresh ideas—often in just 24-48 hours. They unleash creativity and push teams to think outside the box, leading to breakthroughs that might take months in a typical work setting. 2?? Attract & Retain Top Talent Hackathons showcase your company as an innovation-driven workplace. Whether you’re looking to recruit top engineers, data scientists, or designers, a hackathon lets potential hires experience your culture firsthand while allowing you to spot high-potential talent in action. 3?? Boost Employee Engagement & Collaboration Internal hackathons foster cross-functional teamwork, helping employees break out of silos and collaborate with colleagues they might not typically work with. The result? Stronger teams, improved morale, and a culture of continuous learning. 4?? Strengthen Brand & Industry Positioning Hosting a hackathon positions your company as a leader in your industry. It signals to customers, partners, and competitors that you’re invested in innovation and open to fresh ideas. Plus, media and social coverage from a well-executed hackathon can significantly boost your brand visibility. 5?? Fast-Track Prototyping & Product Development Need fresh ideas for a new feature or a solution to an internal inefficiency? Hackathons create the perfect environment for rapid prototyping. Some of the best products and services—including Slack and Facebook’s “Like” button—originated from hackathon projects. Ready to bring a hackathon to your company? Whether internal or open to the public, it could be the catalyst your team needs for its next big breakthrough! #Hackathon #Innovation #TechLeadership #CompanyCulture #TalentAcquisition

Let’s address the elephant in the room: 99% of B2B testimonials are fluff. Either written by the sellers themselves, overhyped, or downright fake. Everyone knows it. No one says it. So nothing changes. It would be easy for LSI to ghost-write quotes like “LSI hosts fantastic conferences, says Steve the GM" or "I came to LSI and closed my round that day, says Sara the CEO" to pat ourselves on the back. But that doesn’t help anyone. Instead, we let our customers tell real stories — the actual impact LSI has made in the long, messy arc of building and growing their businesses — and we share them in their raw form. Entrepreneurs like Yeshwanth Pulijala, who explains how he got on Robert Hornby's (Mercia Ventures) radar at LSI Europe, but the timing wasn't right. When a colleague re-introduced them, Mercia had context on the business from LSI and chose to invest. Investors like R. Sean Churchill, MD, MBA (cultivate(MD)) who leveraged LSI's digital coverage of emerging companies to get familiar with Prana Surgical. When Joanna Nathan reached out, the meeting was set for onsite at LSI and a deal was made. For decades, our market intelligence has helped medtech and healthtech executives make smarter decisions. In that same spirit of smarter decision making, we're transparent with our testimonials — and want our community to understand the real impact LSI can have on their businesses, explained by the beneficiaries of that impact. Check out the written and video testimonials on our site. https://lnkd.in/ev8q9QSW We’ve got nothing to hide.

We can't wait to see these presenters and more at LSI USA in March.
As we gear up for #LSIUSA25 we’re showcasing the innovators from around the globe who are selected to present in Dana Point, California. Today we’re showcasing: 1. Claus Jessen — ADVITOS GmbH → The ADVOS therapy offers the first and only integrated solution for MOF and acidosis. It includes the support of the liver, lungs, and kidneys in a single device. Patient survival is significantly improved through simultaneous organ detoxification and acid-base balance management. The brand-new blood purification technology revolutionizes detoxification and enables blood pH correction for the first time. The complexities of managing multiple organ failures in a single organism are addressed with a single device. 2. Anastasia Rigas — Heteron Biotechnologies, LLC → The company’s solution is a hand-held breath analyzer that will screen and monitor for biomarkers of gastrointestinal and liver diseases. The technology is intended to replace existing diagnostic testing tools for point-of-care testing, ultimately allowing users to screen themselves and monitor dietary and long-term medical interventions. 3. John Chi 季崇健 — Synova Life Sciences → Developed a proprietary methodology and system for processing fat cells into autologous stem cells.
