Last week, our Healthpeak property management team members in South San Francisco partnered with Life Science Cares Bay Area to stuff 150 holiday stockings for Family House Inc. This local non-profit provides temporary housing for families with children who have traveled to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital to receive treatment for cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. The event was a fantastic opportunity for us to grow as a team, embody our WE CARE core values, and, most importantly, bring some joy to families facing challenges this holiday season. Since 2019, Healthpeak has supported TeamNEGU: Never Ever Give Up! and the Jessie Rees Foundation, raising funds and awareness for childhood cancer. One of the foundation’s core programs honors Jessica Joy Rees’s legacy through JoyJars, which contain toys and heartfelt messages for children fighting cancer. ? This year, Healthpeak once again hosted Mobile Joy Factories at each of our corporate offices, where our team members assembled 1,500 JoyJars, our biggest year yet.
