People have great ideas, but they lack a platform to take them forward. Many industry bodies masquerade as think-thanks but they are actually lobby houses working for a select group of corporates rather than representing the real stakeholders and right issues for healthcare transformation. These forums profess to impact policies, but they have not been able to impact enough to make healthcare accessible, affordable, and of acceptable quality. COVID-19 has bared the reality of the healthcare system, and it's a call to action for all of us to galvanise our efforts for transforming healthcare without any further delay. This led to the decision to establish this think tank – Health Parliament. Here at Health Parliament, we are doing work which is about ground level impact, brainstorming, gap analysis, ideation, strategy and policy papers, and mentoring to create an accountable healthcare system. We continuously engage with leaders across the public and private sectors and keep sharing our inputs with policymakers on a regular basis. We undertake primary and secondary research, and most importantly, we have developed our proprietary leadership development model for healthcare sector. We aim to engage, impact and improve healthcare. In the next 5-10 years, we will create key influencers across the continuum of care. Health Parliament has been founded by a top industry honcho with over 25 years of experience across the globe in healthcare, and has worked with the leading organizations including the Internet Governance Forum (United Nations), World Health Organization (WHO), World Economic Forum (WEF), and is the former Advisor to the Health Minister of India. He has written extensively on healthcare and is the country's most sought-after policymaker.
