We couldn’t agree more. Haven Rx is strategically positioned to service drug deserts created by these closures.
People are just so used to things getting to them, instead of the other way around now. Few things to note: 1. Prescriptions, like retails, are probably moving toward mail-order, which gives Amazon a huge edge. 2. Intra-city will go back to the courier model, 1-2 high volume pharmacies can serve a whole tier 2 city. 3. This is not new, both models exist for like 50 years now. But now is the time because maintaining a retails pharmacy gets more and more difficult with rising labor cost + real estate premiums. Bullish on HavenRx, Capsule, Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company, PBC, among others. Some sort of OS for pharmacy would be huge as well, who are building these?
