Did you hear that Kate was accepted into the 2025 class of Leadership Upper Valley (LUV)? LUV unites motivated individuals to learn about essential topics such as health, education, arts, the economy (and more!), to be empowered with insights into these topics' impact on local issues, opportunities for dialogue, connect with fellow leaders, and instill the motivation to find ways to get involved! With their first session day this week, they hit the ground running on the topic of "Education." They had multiple panel discussions focused on education at large (including school choice, teacher recruitment, changing modes of educating students, etc.), mental health and wellness, and they visited both a local science museum and a Career and Technical Center to hear from their teams and get a feel for the challenges and opportunities students and staff face in the region and opportunities for learning both in and outside the classroom.? ? ? Granite Edvance?has launched an exciting new fund to support NH nursing students through the Granite State P.A.R.T.N.E.R.S. program! This initiative provides up to $1,050 for students completing their nursing prerequisites at Community College System of New Hampshire (CCSNH)?schools. ?? It’s a fantastic step forward in tackling New Hampshire’s health care workforce shortage by helping aspiring nurses on their journey to success.
