In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month last month, our team at Health-E Commerce joined forces for a Virtual Breast Cancer Awareness Walking Challenge. For every mile walked, Health-E Commerce pledged to donate $1 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Our goal was to walk over 5,000 miles as a team, and We Did It! From walking with family, friends, and pets to taking steps indoors, outdoors, up stairs, along trails, and even in a marathon, our team truly went the distance. Together, we raised $5,000 to support breast cancer screening, research, and treatment. It’s estimated that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, but early detection can save lives.
