We’re excited to welcome Doug Roy as our Senior Vice President of Business Development! ?? Doug is a seasoned sales leader with 30 years of experience driving massive growth at top healthcare companies and other large corporations like U.S. Bank and American Express. Before joining HCO, Doug was Regional VP of Business Development at MedScope, a leading Personal Emergency Response device (i.e. Life Alert device) company. In 2015, Doug was the first Business Development Director hired at Medscope, which at the time was a privately held, family-owned digital health startup. Doug and his team grew MedScope revenues by 10X in the highly competitive market, securing contracts with all major payers and health insurers. Medscope was acquired by Medical Guardian in 2021, and Doug was promoted to Regional VP of Business Development. Doug has always impressed us as a professional, and his personality, genuine interest in helping people enjoy better health is palpable. Given the similarities in where we are now and where MedScope was when he joined, we're excited by the lived experience he brings to the team. He’s a very welcome addition to our Senior Team.
