Healthcare for Action enthusiastically supports the re-election of Rep. Yadira Caraveo, who made history in 2022 when she became the first Latina elected to Congress from Colorado.? A pediatrician, Rep. Caraveo saw firsthand how the wage gap, high costs, and inaccessible healthcare was negatively impacting her patients.? This inspired her to serve in the Colorado State Assembly, where she took on special interests and worked to lower costs for her constituents.? Now, as a member of Congress from Colorado’s new 8th District, she is working on improving access to healthcare and issues that will help children achieve success.? Our country needs more dedicated public servants like Rep. Caraveo, who works hard on behalf of children and families. #politics #health #justice
