Wrapping up an exhilarating September. The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Annual Conference in Toronto focused on "accelerating transformational leadership"! So many amazing panels. We also made history with the HBA's first Funding Women Innovators Pitch Competition. Over 70 companies applied to participate in the competition with 8 selected to pitch! Our Venture Capital and corporate investor panels were eye opening and prepared attendees to express their inner venture capitalists by voting on the audience choice winner. Panelists did double duty as judges to select first and second place winners. The Female Quotient's unstoppable Shelley Zalis moderated the pitch competition and live streamed it!
