关于我们

Our Mission The Health Alliance for the Uninsured is a catalyst for improved health care services for those who otherwise would be unable to obtain them. Why HAU works hard to address unmet health needs: Oklahoma has slipped in national health rankings from 44th in 2017 to 47th in 2018. Oklahoma ranks 49th in % of adults uninsured, with 16% of Oklahomans over age 18 lacking health insurance compared to 10% nationally. Every 24 minutes, someone dies in the U.S. due to a lack of health insurance. What HAU does to address unmet health needs: HAU partners with thirteen free/charitable clinics and two community health centers in Oklahoma County. HAU partner clinics provide primary care and HAU helps address medication needs, access to specialists, diagnostic testing and surgery.
