Healing Counseling Center Incorporated (HCC) was formed by two sisters, Heidi Johanson and Laurie Todd, who have a passion for helping individuals heal and recover from a multitude of mental health issues and daily life stressors. Each therapist's goal at HCC is to help clients feel comfortable and at ease to ensure they feel accepted in the counseling process. Counseling can be intimidating and overwhelming at times, and we are here to guide you in any way necessary!

No part of the death of a loved one is easy for children to digest. This is even more true for suicide deaths, where adults struggle to find the right way to tell children about what happened. This article provides guidance for caregivers on how to discuss a suicide death with children. A few of the key points discussed in the article include: ? Being honest ?
