Our therapies extend past traditional counseling through music, art and play therapy. All of our therapists attain additional certifications through extensive training, supervision and practice. Creative therapies are for all ages!

WE'RE EXPANDING! ** Thanks to your continued trust and support and the increased need for creative therapy services in the greater Richmond area, we are expanding to a second location! Our current office in Midlothian will remain open and thriving as we open our second location at 5311 Patterson Avenue in Richmond! ** The following therapists will be moving to the Patterson office: Lawson (play), Jillian (art), Natalie (art), Hayley (art). Raven (music) and Eduardo (music) will be at both locations. Brie (play) will begin seeing clients out of the Patterson office as well. If your therapist is moving locations, check your email for a message from them with more details and information about next steps. ** We are thrilled about this new chapter and look forward to continuing our journey with you!

?? Exciting News! ?? I'm thrilled to announce that Healing Sounds, LLC is now doing business as The Center for Creative Healing. What began 15 years ago as a solo music therapy practice has blossomed into a thriving group practice offering a wide range of creative healing services, including music therapy, art therapy, play therapy, and dance movement therapy. Our new name reflects the comprehensive, science-based therapeutic services we provide and the incredible work of our dedicated therapists. We believe The Center for Creative Healing better communicates our mission and capacity to support mental health in our community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our clients, team members, and the RVA community for your unwavering support and trust. Your belief in our mission has been the cornerstone of our growth.
