Behind the scenes at today’s branding shoot with Hotel Council of San Francisco! I picked this location in a hotel lobby because: 1: There’s some nice light coming from the window on my right. I would never 100% rely on natural light, but it’s always easier to shoot with it vs against it. You’ll see the big 7 foot umbrella light in front of my camera. 2: This lobby has a really nice set of repeating lights on either side. To make the photo more visually interesting, we frequently use repeating patterns or repeating lines that draw your eye to our subject. Excited to show the final result next week!

First day at Yelp Inc’s beautiful corporate headquarters by Salesforce Tower. We’re doing somewhere between 1500 and 4000 headshots over the next 3 months for various corporate clients around the #sanfrancisco Bay Area. Let’s do it! ??
