The HeadFirst Mental Health Initiative is a Dallas-based 501c3 non-profit aimed at reducing the current mental health crisis in Dallas through providing community education, outreach services, and free mental health counseling to underserved populations. We aim to make quality, evidenced-based mental health services accessible to families that would have historically been restricted from these services due to an inability to pay. Community education and outreach programs will enable families in the Dallas area to take control of their family's mental health through being connected to services and learning tools and techniques to manage their family's mental health needs. Bilingual Contract Therapist (Spanish/English) Location:?Dallas County Organization:?Headfirst Mental Health Initiative (HMHI) Headfirst Mental Health Initiative (HMHI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing accessible and free mental health services and support to diverse communities. We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Bilingual Contract Therapist to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families in need of mental health care. If you are passionate about mental health, fluent in both Spanish and English, and licensed in the state of Texas, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities: · Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy services to clients at your therapy office. · Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress. · Collaborate with case managers, community partners, and the HMHI team to ensure comprehensive care. · Maintain compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines for the profession and the state of Texas. Qualifications: · Licensure:?Must hold an active and valid license to practice in the state of Texas (LPC, LCSW, LMFT,?LPC-Associate, LMSW,?or equivalent). · Language:?Bilingual in Spanish and English (required). · Experience:?Minimum 2 years of clinical experience. · Availability:?Must be able to work in person at their office (contractor position).
