Through storytelling and investigative reporting, Cicero Independiente is transforming civic engagement in Cicero and Berwyn by cultivating a new generation of local journalists and empowering residents to actively shape their communities and futures. As a 2022 HCF Resilience grant recipient, we also talked to Cicero Independiente about how that grant supported healing-informed policies at their organization. Stage 1 of our 2025 grant cycle is now open! We are accepting letters of intent (LOIs) until Friday, February 14, 2025.
