Over the past five years, 11 people in Palm Beach County had to be transported to a trauma center after suffering traumatic shark-related injuries; three were transported with severe sunburn injuries and five were transported following drowning incidents.? ? Our Trauma Hawk flight team, including our partners with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, made a dramatic landing at Royal Palm Beach High School for this week's Safety4Life car crash re-enactment, one of many community events our team takes part in throughout the year highlighting safe driving and Trauma Hawk's lifesaving role.?? ? Before their prom, students witness the sobering consequences of driving under the influence or texting and driving. Teen drivers are more likely to be involved in fatal crashes than any other age group, often due to inexperience, distractions, and impaired driving. ? ?? Our Trauma Agency team was also on-site for a safety fair, providing "Stop the Bleed" training to empower bystanders with lifesaving skills to prevent rapid blood loss in an emergency. ? #Safety4Life #TraumaHawk #DriveSafe #StopTheBleed #PromSeasonSafety #WeCareForAll
