?? Honours Global Leadership Program in Tampa – A Week to Remember! ?? Just got back from an incredible week in Tampa, Florida, as part of the Honours Global Leadership Program and honestly? What an eye-opening, inspiring, and unforgettable experience. ?? Throughout the week, we explored sustainability challenges firsthand, connected with industry experts and government officials, and worked on real-world solutions for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our journey started with a guided boat tour of Port Tampa, where Christopher J. Cooley (Director of Environmental Affairs) shared insights on marine life, pollution, and sustainability efforts. We also had an inspiring meeting with Whit Remer, Tampa’s Sustainability & Resilience Officer, at City Hall, where we got a behind-the-scenes look at the city’s environmental initiatives. One of the biggest highlights? Organizing and holding the Knowledge Café at HCC, where we collaborated with students to brainstorm innovative ideas on how to achieve the SDGs by 2030. This interactive discussion was the most successful in eight years, bringing together people passionate about sustainability and leadership. ???? Beyond all the learning, we built lifelong friendships, experienced Tampa’s amazing culture, and developed skills in leadership, teamwork, and adaptability. If you ever get the chance to join an Honours Program like this—do it! You won’t regret it. ?? #GlobalLeadership #Leadership #Sustainability #SDGs #HonoursProgram #Tampa #HCC
