???? KCTCS-TRAINS Funding: The Key to Linking Workforce Growth & Industry Success in Our Region ???? KCTCS-TRAINS is a critical tool driving workforce development across Kentucky, helping businesses attract and retain talent while fostering economic growth. This funding empowers companies to invest in customized training programs, ensuring employees are equipped with the skills needed to stay competitive. Henderson Economic Development highlights its value in retaining industries. Whitney Risley, Director of Existing Industries and Workforce Development, shares: "Henderson Economic Development utilizes KCTCS-TRAINS funding when retaining and recruiting industries. The funding has made a significant impact to the industries in the region by allowing the group to participate in a collaborative training program. It's a great resource to have in our back pocket while we are working with industries to either retain or recruit employees." Pratt Industries is a clear example of the funding's success as an industry attraction tool. With a $600,000 KCTCS-TRAINS commitment, the company partnered with Henderson Community College to develop training tailored to their needs as they launched their Henderson facility. Matthew Vanderpool, Electrical & Instrumentation Superintendent, says: "Pratt Industries has greatly benefited from the workforce development training through KCTCS-TRAINS funding. HCC has been an excellent partner in selecting the various types of training tailored to our specific employee needs, including administrative, leadership, and technical training. We thoroughly appreciate HCC's commitment to our success!" KCTCS-TRAINS funding creates opportunities for Kentucky's workforce while making the state a top destination for business, benefiting both employers and Kentucky communities. #HCCWorkforceSolutions #KCTCSTRAINS #KCTCSWorkforceSolutions
